Fine Artist, Graphic Designer, Photographer, Ramen-lover.

Born in Colorado and raised with a touch of Japanese and Hawaiian culture, Miya graduated from John F. Kennedy High School and received a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design from the University of Northern Colorado (2010).

Alongside working as a freelance graphic designer, she pursues the fine arts of illustration, photography, and printmaking and loves all things cute, colorful, and weird. Miya's greatest inspiration is Hayao Miyazaki, who's beautifully painted landscapes paired with the moving music of Joe Hisaishi instilled a deep appreciation and respect for nature.

Miya's other passions are hula dancing, learning the Northern Long Fist style of kung fu, and eating. Any free time she has is dedicated to her best buddy and dog, Hin (Heen) who enjoys long walks and biting socks.
